“Sorry, but I can’t write the wp-config.php file” Error
During the installation process, WordPress may be unable to create or edit the wp-config.php file due to incorrect file permissions.
Solution:
- Set the file permissions of the wp-config.php file to 644 using an FTP client or your hosting control panel’s file manager.
- If the file does not exist, create a new wp-config.php file in your site’s root directory and copy the contents of the wp-config-sample.php file into it. Update the file with your database information and any other required settings.
