
Navigating the WordPress Menu
The WordPress menu is located on the left-hand side of the dashboard and provides access to all the different sections of your website. It includes the following items:
- Dashboard – This is the main dashboard that you will see when you log in.
- Posts – This section allows you to manage your website’s posts, including creating new posts, editing existing ones, and managing categories and tags.
- Media – This section allows you to manage your website’s media files, including images, videos, and audio files.
- Pages – This section allows you to manage your website’s pages, including creating new pages, editing existing ones, and managing parent-child relationships.
- Comments – This section allows you to manage your website’s comments, including approving, editing, and deleting comments.
- Appearance – This section allows you to manage your website’s appearance, including selecting a theme, customizing your website’s header and footer, and creating custom menus.
- Plugins – This section allows you to manage your website’s plugins, including installing new plugins, activating and deactivating plugins, and updating plugins.
- Users – This section allows you to manage your website’s users, including creating new users, editing existing ones, and managing roles and permissions.
- Tools – This section allows you to manage your website’s tools, including importing and exporting data, and managing spam comments.
- Settings – This section allows you to manage your website’s settings, including general settings, writing settings, reading settings, and more.
